  1. new Orleans… In the poor area (NE) … kicked us out at 11 at night, after we asked and were told it was ok (at 6…pm)

Cops were running my AB plates…..

Once I was kicked out…. they left… the other guys got to stay as they had a real call… just an fyi.

  2. Both West Monroe and East Monroe Walmarts in LA do NOT allow overnight parking. The security guard was VERY FRIENDLY and came up to us and a trucker right away to let us know. We called Home Depot in Monroe and they said we were more than welcome to stay there. Hope this info helps someone. Thanks for this website; It has been helpful to us on our travels.

    • We stayed at the West Monroe one last night. Called ahead, they said okay, just park back by the gas station. The security guard said they were glass to have us.

  3. We stayed in the Lafayette Supercenter on Pinhook Rd. We called the other two Walmarts in Lafayette and they do NOT allow overnight stays. Just know that they are not open 24 hours, they close at midnight.

  4. Overnight parking ist not allowed near New Orleans (Walmart Supercenter, 8101 W Judge Perez Dr
    Chalmette, LA 70043
    United States)

  5. Next to Walmart North Monroe is huge parking lot w Planet Fitness open all night. No other traffic and no signage. Is darker anyway.

  6. In Alexandria, use the Walmart on (Coliseum Blvd) Hwy 28 West & not the Walmart next to the Harley Davidson dealership in town closer to I-49.
The reason is personal safety due to the close vicinity of lower income housing & heavy daytime traffic conditions.
