  1. Earlier this month, a truck driver had his tractor trailer towed and had to pay $1500 to get the truck back, but lost the entire load. He was parked at the Wal-Mart in Columbia, SC on Garners Ferry Road. WIS.com did a news story about it here. Please add this location to the list of No Overnight Parking per the store.

  2. not a safe location.
this comment is coming from someone who is lived in Columbia South Carolina for 20 years. Fine in daylight but at night no no
If I had to shop there at night I would park in front of the building where the cameras are and I would leave my purchases in the lobby where the cameras are and drive my car up to load it. Hopefully there someone at the door!
Neither location garners ferry road or two Notch are safe at night. Attempted murder with a gun has been done in daylight at the garners ferry location you really don’t want to sleep there . Or leave anything that you want in the parking lot.
The manager knows more than we do.

  3. Walmart provides RV people a real service, which we appreciate.
We have a self contained camper van. We’ve been all over the country in it, as we are retired.
We stay at many campgrounds, but if we’re traveling and just want to sleep, Walmart is our place. We always shop, and then just eat and sleep…we do not camp?
We were told by a security guard that truckers have caused problems for the rest of us….
I hope that this will never change, as it is benificial to Walmart and to us.
